Frequently Asked Questions

What Should I Do If SSH Shows "Authentication failed"?

Check whether the SSH username and SSH password are correct. Do not include extra spaces when copying the password.

What Should I Do If SSH Shows "Connection timed out"?

Confirm that the IP address is correct and that the port is 22. If you still cannot connect, contact support to check the service status.

What Should I Do If VNC Says the Password Is Incorrect?

Make sure you entered the VNC password, not the SSH password or your client area login password.

What Should I Do If the VNC Screen Is Black or Laggy After Connecting?

Graphical desktop connections are sensitive to local network quality, remote tool status, and device status. Try reconnecting once first. If the issue continues, take a screenshot of the error message and contact support.

Should I Use SSH or VNC?

Use SSH if you only need command-line access. Use VNC if you need to see the macOS desktop and perform graphical interface operations.

Security Reminders

Do not publicly share your SSH password, VNC password, or client area login information.

Do not save connection passwords on public computers or untrusted devices.

After you finish using the service, disconnect the SSH or VNC session.

If you suspect that a password has been leaked, change it as soon as possible and contact support.
