Is this a virtual machine or a real Mac mini?
It is a real, physical Mac mini M4. Each unit has its own Apple serial number and is delivered to a single customer, with no virtualization and no shared compute.
How do I choose between Essential, Core and Advanced?
All three share the same chip and memory. Essential has 256GB storage and 5000GB monthly traffic, which suits most individuals. Core moves to 512GB and 10000GB for projects with several Xcode versions or large caches. Advanced has 1TB storage and 500Mbps bandwidth for large files and high-traffic workloads.
How soon can I start using it?
It is provisioned automatically after payment and is usually ready within 15–30 minutes. Once ready, VNC and SSH connection details appear in your client area.
Will it be fast from Mainland China?
M4 plans use international bandwidth without Mainland China route optimization, so performance depends on the international link between both ends. With full access you can set up your own relay or acceleration.
Do I get root access, and can I reinstall macOS?
Yes. You get full root and sudo access to install Homebrew, Xcode and any dependencies. If something breaks, request a reinstall in the client area to restore a clean system.
Where is the Mac mini M4 available?
All M4 plans are currently hosted in Japan with a Japanese residential IP. New regions will appear on the plans page when they open.
